Boxwheel Trailer Leasing acquired the assets of Detroit-based Twin Bridges Enterprises, its fourth expansion since 2021 and its entry into the Detroit market. The company operated six locations afterward: Denver, El Paso, Phoenix, Reno, Salt Lake City, and Detroit.

Boxwheel rents, leases, and sells refrigerated, dry van, and flatbed trailers. Crosstimbers is the company's private equity sponsor and first invested in February 2018.
