David is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Crosstimbers, where he leads all aspects of the Firm's operations, with a primary focus on investment strategy, business development, and capital formation. Before establishing Crosstimbers, David was President of Brock Capital, a family-office-sponsored private equity firm, where he served on the Investment Committee and the boards of its portfolio companies, guiding M&A activities and spearheading capital formation efforts. Earlier in his career, David worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he oversaw a $1 billion portfolio in the firm's principal investment division, focusing on oil and gas investments. He began his career at Simmons & Company International, providing investment banking advisory services. David graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University with a BBA in Finance. He lives in Houston with his wife and three sons.

Trevor is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Crosstimbers, where he leads all aspects of the Firm's activities, with a particular focus on its culture, capital formation, and strategic direction. Before establishing Crosstimbers, Trevor was Managing Director at Brock Capital, responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing its investments. He also served on the firm's Investment Committee and the boards of its portfolio companies. Prior to joining Brock Capital, Trevor worked as an analyst for International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) in Washington, D.C. and began his career as a consultant for Ernst & Young in New York. Trevor earned a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University, an MA in English Literature from Southern Methodist University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Theology from Wycliffe Hall in Oxford. He lives in Houston with his wife and three children.

James is a member of the Investment Committee and leads the Firm’s investments, execution, portfolio monitoring, and asset management. Prior to joining Crosstimbers, James served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer of OneLNG, OnePower and VP Ventures, three distributed energy and power companies, where he led the finance, accounting, and investment functions. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Principal at Ara Partners, an industrial decarbonization private equity firm with approximately $8 billion in assets under management, where he led the evaluation, execution, and oversight of private equity investments. Earlier in his career, James spent a decade at First Reserve, an energy and infrastructure private equity firm with approximately $17 billion in assets under management, where he helped execute more than $2 billion of equity investments. He began his career at Lehman Brothers, providing investment banking advisory services. James graduated at the top of his class from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, earning concurrent BBA and MPA degrees. He lives in Houston with his wife and three daughters.

Bobby is a member of the investment committee and is responsible for leading the Firm's private equity investment activities, with a particular focus on sourcing and underwriting. In addition, he serves as a board member at several portfolio companies. Bobby began his career at Quantum Energy Partners, an energy-focused private equity firm with over $27 billion of capital raised since inception. Bobby graduated from Texas A&M University with an MS in Finance and a BBA in Accounting. He lives in Houston with his wife and two daughters.

Kyle is a member of the investment committee and is responsible for all aspects of the Firm’s operations, including its administrative and corporate finance functions. As an experienced operator, Kyle leads the Portfolio Operations team and will drive certain value-creation initiatives inside portfolio companies, including M&A activity and positioning for exit. Before joining Crosstimbers, he was a Managing Director at Yeoman Capital Partners, an investment partnership focused on distributed hard assets, and Chief Financial Officer of Red Dot Storage, one of the nation’s largest self-storage operators, where he led all corporate finance functions through the successful sale of the business in 2024. Prior to that, Kyle served as Director of Finance at Sunnova Energy International, a residential solar and energy storage provider, where he led or supported dozens of transactions across the capital structure, raising over $5 billion in new capital, including leading Sunnova’s 2019 Initial Public Offering. Earlier, Kyle held roles at Schlumberger Technology Corporation. He graduated with honors from Rice University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Kyle lives in Houston with his wife and son.

Joseph Jornayvaz joins Crosstimbers as a Senior Advisor, focused on business development and new venture formation. He previously spent 18 years at Lockton, where he served as a senior vice president building relationships across a wide range of public and privately held businesses. Now, Joseph brings those commercial relationships and opportunities to the firm, working with owners and operators across the energy and infrastructure economy to identify businesses that fit Crosstimbers' investment criteria. He lives in Houston with his wife and four children.

Ian focuses on sourcing and underwriting new investment opportunities. Prior to joining Crosstimbers, Ian worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Halliburton Energy Services as a Senior Analyst, where he assisted in deal execution and due diligence. Ian graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University with a BBA in Business Honors and Finance. He lives in Houston with his wife and two sons.

Zach focuses on asset management in existing investments and supports investment screening and underwriting efforts. Prior to joining Crosstimbers, Zach was a Principal at Flatirons Asset Management, a private real-estate investment sponsor and subsidiary of the Firm, where he led acquisitions and corporate development. Zach began his career in consulting with Deloitte. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Industrial Distribution. Zach lives in Houston with his wife and son.

Brayden supports the Firm’s portfolio companies. Brayden began his career in the Corporate Performance Improvement group at Alvarez & Marsal as a Consultant, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and corporate transformation. Brayden graduated Cum Laude from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University with an MS in Finance and a BBA in Accounting. He lives in Houston with his wife.

Tripp supports the Firm’s portfolio companies. Tripp began his career at Yeoman Asset Management, a self-storage operating platform and Crosstimbers portfolio company, as an Associate on the corporate finance team. Tripp graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia with a BA in Economics and a BA in Applied Statistics. He lives in Houston.

Colton supports investment screening and underwriting in the Firm’s investment pipeline. He began his career as an Analyst in the Energy Investment Banking Group at Raymond James & Associates, focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising activities across the upstream, midstream, and renewable energy sectors. Colton graduated Cum Laude from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University with an MS in Finance and a BBA in Business Honors and Accounting, while also playing football for the Aggies. Colton lives in Houston with his wife.

Grant supports operations in the Firm and its portfolio companies with a special emphasis on AI, data science, and technology. Before joining Crosstimbers, he was a Director of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Red Dot, a subsidiary of the Firm. Prior to that, Grant was a founding Data Scientist for The18, a soccer media startup and played semi-professional soccer in Germany. Grant graduated from Leuphana University of Lüneburg with a MS in Data Science and from the University of Mount Olive with a BS in Data Analytics and Applied Mathematics. He lives in Houston.

Mani uses his expertise in data science, machine learning, and applied technology solutions to build AI systems, data pipelines, and internal tools that facilitate the operations of our portfolio companies. Before joining Crosstimbers, Mani was a Graduate Research Assistant at the Texas A&M University Southwest Innovation Research Lab, where he built enterprise-grade retrieval and forecasting systems and co-authored several research articles published in Management Science. Prior to that, Mani was a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad, where he worked on Document Intelligence & Information Retrieval, and a Software Intern in Search & Data Engineering at Strand Life Sciences. He holds an MS in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Palakkad. Mani lives in Houston.

Andrew is the Chief Compliance Officer and is responsible for compliance, financial, and operational aspects of the firm. Before joining Crosstimbers, Andrew was the President and CEO of Maverick Water Group, a water infrastructure business and Crosstimbers portfolio company. Prior to that, Andrew established and managed a family office for a high-net-worth family in Houston and practiced law at a boutique transactional firm in Houston. Andrew earned a BS in Corporate Communication from the University of Texas at Austin; a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Lytae and graduated Cum Laude; and a Master of Laws (Taxation) from the University of Houston Law Center. He lives in Houston with his wife and two children.

Franklin is the Controller and is responsible for accounting, treasury, and fund administration operations in the firm. Before joining Crosstimbers, he served as Controller at Transpose Platform, a venture capital firm, and Assistant Controller at The Sterling Group, a middle-market private equity firm. Prior to that, Franklin served as an auditor at Ernst & Young and a business consultant at Protiviti. Franklin is a CPA in Texas and graduated Cum Laude from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University with an MS in Finance and a BBA in Accounting. He lives in Houston with his wife and daughter.

Frances is the Tax & Accounting Senior Manager and supports fund financials and operations and tax reporting in the firm. Before joining Crosstimbers, Frances served as a Tax Manager at Deloitte, working with oil and gas and private equity clients. Frances is a CPA in Texas and graduated from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University with an MS in Accounting and a BBA in Accounting and Business Honors. She lives in Houston.

Caroline is the Investor Operations Manager, supporting investor relations and operations in the firm. Before joining Crosstimbers, Caroline served as the Chief of Staff at CCMP Capital Advisors, a middle-market private equity firm, and a family office in Houston. Caroline graduated Cum Laude from Baylor with a BBA in Economics and Business Fellows. She lives in Houston.

Anna is the Office Manager and provides administrative support. She has been with Crosstimbers since its inception, previously working with the Founding Principals at Brock Capital. Anna lives in Houston with her husband.

Bethany is an Executive Assistant and supports the investment, portfolio management, and investor relations teams. Before joining Crosstimbers, Bethany served as the Vice President of Business Development at Golden Triangle Properties and as a Medical Sales Representative at Gulf Coast Med Co. Bethany graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Leadership. She lives in Houston with her husband.
